Entertainment Art major at College for Creative Studies. This has become an inspiration/play blog. Whatever I feel at the moment.

Thought that I needed to spread out a bit more from Deviantart and this seemed to be a viable way to do so. But I can still be found at http://desertfire.deviantart.com/

Random thoughts/writings and now art blog: "You Should Really Talk More"

Recently joined Fiction Press as well.

Never waste your time trying to explain who you are to people who are committed to misunderstanding you. - Dream Hampton

Story of my life.

If your head tells you one thing and your heart tells you another, before you do anything decide first whether you have a better head or a better heart. - Albert Einstein

The one who follows the crowd will usually get no further than the crowd. The one who walks alone is likely to find himself in places no one has ever been. - Albert Einstein

I wish to God I could get this through the general population’s head.

And I have to put up with this every bloody day.

Keep close to Nature’s heart… and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.”
~John Muir

Just discovered this guy. I’m loving his quotes!!!

When I want a second opinion, I’ll ask myself twice.

Saw this an lol’ed!! I LOVE it!!

I owe my success to having listened respectfully to the best advice, and then going away and doing the opposite.
—G.K. Chesterton

Originally saw that quote here.

This particular one just knocked me flat out. Maybe because he’s summing up exactly what I do in a very elegant and simple way.

Only for me it’s not writing.

It’s making art.

Silence is the element in which great things fashion themselves.
— Thomas Carlyle

Oh….the time I could probably spend on this quote. Maybe I will sometime….

The first mistake of art is to assume it’s serious.
—Lester Bangs

I think I might can come up with a thought process to go on my other blog…“You Should Really Talk More” so I think I’ll hold off on my thoughts about this right now.

Sometimes the doorway to success means going through the hallway of failure.

Found this quote. Very profound if you ask me. :)
